Circle-Tap Erase:
If you want to erase a large section of the smart board, draw a circle -with the eraser- around everything you want deleted. Then tap the eraser in the center of that circle and it will erase everything inside of it.
Handwriting Recognition:
After you write a word, phrase or sentence, click the selector arrow and click on what you just wrote. Then click the drop down menu in the top-right corner of the selected box. Choose "Recognize (text you just wrote)", and your handwriting will turn into type.
Magic Pen Tool:
---> Fading ink:
After clicking on the magic pen tool, you can select the option to use fading ink, which will fade your text within 10 seconds of writing it.
---> Highlighter:
After clicking on the magic pen tool, you can use the highlighter feature. When you draw a circle anywhere on the screen, it will highlight
everything in the circle and dim everything outside the circle. You can drag the circle around, and close out of it with the "X" in the corner.

After clicking on the magic pen tool, you can use the Magnify feature. When you draw a square or rectangle on the screen, it magnifies that portion of
the screen. You can move, resize and close the magnify box at any time.
Transparent Background Button:
Using the transparent background button in your menu, allows you to use your computer desktop while still viewing your notebook page. It makes it easier to see the writing while you are using your desktop if you draw a shape first to act as a "sticky note". You can also use some other application during this more too, ex. the internet.
